Your records stay yours.
Your assistant can add, never read. Only a brand's web address leaves Money for its logo.

An assistant can only add
- It adds transactions and keeps balances, and nothing else. It cannot read, change or delete your records.
- It signs in to Money itself, and you choose Allow. Money keeps a fingerprint of its key, never the key.
- It adds up to 100 transactions at a time and 5,000 a day.
- Disconnect it in Settings, Connections at any time. What it added stays.
What leaves Money
- Logos
- A brand's web address, such as spotify.com, goes to Context.dev, which finds its logo. Never an account's name, a transaction's words or an amount.
- Rates
- Currency codes and dates go to Frankfurter for the European Central Bank's reference rates.
- Files you drop
- An AI model reads each file for the money in it, with your account names and currencies beside it. Of a CSV it sees only the first twenty and last three rows; Money reads the rest itself.
A receipt's picture is kept in your own records, so you can open it from its transaction. A CSV is not kept.
What Money never has
- Your bank logins. When a bank asks your assistant to sign in, you type it yourself.
- Ads, or logs of what you send.
Hide the total
Tap your total balance to turn it into four dashes, on the train or across a table. Hide it with a tap.
Close your account
Close your account in Settings, under Account. Money erases your records and ends your subscription.
