Total balance adds up every account and the cash you hold, in the one currency you choose.

Choose the currency

Open Settings with your picture in the top corner. Under Display, choose the currency. Every amount in Money follows it: the total, each transaction, the budget and the subscriptions.

The choice is saved with your records, so your phone and the web always agree.

What counts

  • Every account Money has, at its latest balance.
  • Accounts in other currencies, converted at the day's rate. How the total converts.
  • The cash you hold, typed in Settings under Cash held. It counts in the total, but not in the accounts connected.

When a balance or a rate is missing, the total says Incomplete and names what is missing. It never leaves an account out.

Hide it with a tap

Tap Total balance, its title or its figure, and the figure turns into four dashes beside the currency: −−−− kr. Tap again to show it.

It is always four dashes, so nobody can guess the figure from its length. Your browser remembers the choice, so the total stays hidden on the train.

Accounts connected

The line under the figure says how many accounts Money has. Tap it to open Settings at your accounts.

Rename an account there by typing over its name. Money keeps the old name with it, so your assistant still finds the account.
