Wise, in every currency it holds.

Each Wise balance is its own account in Money. The total converts them for you.

Noor's euros and yen at Wise, each its own account, and a payment in yen from the euro balance. Made-up figures.

One account per currency

Noor holds euros and yen at Wise, so Money has two accounts: Wise · EUR and Wise · JPY. Settings shows each in its own currency, as Wise does.

  1. Open Settings, then Connections, and choose Manage.
  2. Under Your banks, choose Add account, then Wise. Money makes its first account in your country's currency.
  3. Connect your assistant. When it reads Wise, the first balance it sends in each other currency makes that account.

Revolut works the same way.

How the total converts

Money converts each balance into your currency at the day's reference rate from the European Central Bank, then adds them up. The rates come once a day.

The rates in these examples are made up.

A transaction keeps the rate of its own day. When the euro moves, last month's ramen still cost what it cost.

A payment in two currencies

Pay in yen from your euro balance and Wise shows both amounts. Money keeps both: what you paid in the shop's currency, and what Wise charged. Tap the transaction to see them, with the account it came from.

One payment is kept once, however it arrives. The same purchase from Wise's statement and from your assistant is one line.
